Norwood services people 24 hours each day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and employs approximately 170 persons in some 40 positions. Weekend, summer and holiday season hours are available for students and others who are looking for casual work. We prefer to hire individuals who will work a minimum of every other weekend, but will consider other arrangements. An extensive training program is available. This is a valuable opportunity for students to experience working in the Human Service field. Individuals working in our direct care area need to be Certified Nursing Assistants. Experience working with developmentally disabled and/or mentally ill individuals is preferred, but not required. The ability to work as a member of a team and to provide care while respecting the dignity of clients is essential.
