Job Details The Wood County Emergency Management Department has an opening for a full-time Work Relief Shop Coordinator position. The primary purpose of this position is to monitor and work with work crews on various building projects, landscaping and brushing assignments. Also responds to emergency situations that include severe weather warnings, flooding, etc.

Essential requirements include: Graduation from high school, or its equivalent, supplemented by verifiable work in a related field for at least three (3) years is required. Mechanical background, with knowledge of basic office procedures and safety procedures. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license is required. Basic, everyday living skills are needed, as is the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, as well as give instructions. Reading, writing, adding and subtracting is needed to complete forms, read manuals, and make calculations when working on projects. During employment with Wood County, certifications in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and Hazardous Materials Awareness Level are required and maintained.
